How to Get to the Cliftonville/Margate Office
By Road
From the A2 in London, continue on the M2 towards Dover, then take the A299 to Margate:
- Follow the A2, then merge onto M2 (towards Dover)
- Continue on Thanet Way/A299
- At Birchington roundabout, exit onto Canterbury Rd/A28 and follow directions to Margate
- Once at Marine Gardens, follow the B2051 along the seafront
- Turn right on Sweyn Rd; our office is at 147 Northdown Rd, Margate, CT9 2QY
Parking
Parking is available on nearby roads with no time limit, as well as pay-and-display options along Northdown Road. A public car park is also located on Harold Road.
By Bus
Stagecoach’s Thanet Loop bus service provides convenient access to all Cooke & Co offices, including our Margate location.
By Rail
High-speed rail from London St Pancras (approx. 1hr 22min) or Victoria (approx. 1hr 50min) provides access to Margate. A taxi or a 30-minute walk along the seafront can bring you to our office.
About the Cliftonville / Margate Branch
Established in 1992 by Damien Cooke, our Margate branch is a cornerstone of Cooke & Co. Situated on Northdown Road, the office occupies a historical building originally used as a tram station, fully refurbished with modern signage and an illuminated display.
Our Cliftonville office handles both sales and lettings, and Damien oversees this NAEA and ARLA-licensed branch. Together with an experienced team, including Sarah Hanna (19+ years at Cooke & Co) and Justin Smith, the branch covers Margate and surrounding areas.
The Margate team offers complete Thanet coverage, including Old Town, Cliftonville, Westbrook, Westgate, and beyond. The lettings department operates across all Cooke & Co offices, ensuring smooth cooperation and comprehensive property exposure.
