Lettings Negotiator
Cooke & Co is seeking an enthusiastic and organised full time Lettings Negotiator to join our team based at the Margate office.
The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle as appointments take place throughout the Thanet area. A generous monthly car allowance and parking allowance are provided. Saturday working is required with a day off in lieu during the week.
Cooke & Co has successfully managed properties across Thanet for more than 30 years and has built a strong reputation based on honesty, professionalism and integrity. You will join a highly experienced team with more than 70 years of combined property industry experience and will receive ongoing training and development with the long term goal of progressing your career within the lettings sector.
This position offers fully funded ARLA training and recognised industry qualifications within a supportive and enjoyable working environment.
In this busy and varied role you can expect
- Supporting the team to maximise and develop new business opportunities
- Managing your diary effectively to ensure the best use of your time
- Working towards and achieving personal and branch targets
- Organising your workload efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Providing excellent communication and customer service by phone, email and in person
- Registering applicants and arranging property viewings promptly and professionally
- Conducting viewings with prospective tenants throughout the Thanet area
- Assisting with property inspections, inventories and check out procedures
- Supporting the negotiation and agreement of new tenancies
- Preparing documentation and ensuring properties comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements
- Representing Cooke & Co professionally at all times
- Building positive relationships with landlords, tenants and colleagues
This role sits within our lettings department and focuses on property management and tenant services, although you will work closely with our sales teams across all three branches.
